Getting Ready For Forklift Testing

They also need to be checked to insure that they can lift up or down and either left or right effortlessly with the control levers.

When an employee is taking the forklift driving test, they definitely will need to be able to start the forklift and pick up a load and then stack the load on top of something else. Practice this technique repeatedly before you test.

You will also need to be able to drive backwards and possibly maneuver around turns going forward as well as backwards, and around barrels or cones. The horn and lights will need to be used at various locations and the mirrors will need to be adjusted so that the driver can see behind him or her.
