Are You A Potential Interior Designer? Find Out!
August 5th, 2008 by admin
Do you rearrange your furniture and redecorate your home more than a couple of times a year? Are you always on the watch for the newest trends so you can keep up? Does the design of your home feature a subject? Do people come into your home and ask you who your designer is?
If you performed all the work yourself, but others believe you employed someone, then you might just have the knack. When you go into someone’s home or a business, do you mentally rearrange things and imagine new stuff that would look great there?
If you replied yes to more than a few of these questions, then you could very well be the next up and coming interior designer in your area. You can learn more about the interior design business by visiting an art college and finding out the programs they have to offer.
Better yet, you could give a few local designers a call, such as the ones at home staging company, and ask them if they could take some time to have a chat. Interior designers are artists and artists love to talk about their work. You shouldn’t have any problem finding willing designers to talk with. It’s not for everyone, but you might be one of the few people who will do superbly in this career.
