Nobody will be impressed by someone taking on a huge amount of work and then either failing to complete it, or submitting sub standard results.

Be honest to yourself about the ways in which you misuse your time. We all do it; we all have those tactics which delay the inevitable onset of work - whether it is checking emails, reading the news headlines or making a cup of coffee. We need to admit how and when we waste time, so that we can begin to address those problems.
